A friend of mine called me up this week to see if I could work on some cake pops to take to a baby shower she was attending. I was happy to do it because I've been wanting to try out these cute little babies. Do babies even wear bonnets anymore? Well, they do in a cake pop bouquet anyways.
I thought they turned out pretty cute and I had fun personalizing this and mixing up the blue & brown bouquet.
adorable! I have a shower this Saturday that I have been asked to make cupcakes for...but also wanted another display option. Cake pops it is!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! How creative! What did you use for the eyes and nose? I am curious as my sister in law has asked me to make some cake pops for a friends baby shower.
ReplyDeleteI piped on the nose with the same colored chocolate that I dipped the baby pops in. For the eyes I piped on some white and then used confetti sprinkles on top of that. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the chcolate for the skin color? or did you make it?
ReplyDeleteYes I made it with my oil based candy colors. I just added a touch of orange to my white melts.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone make these and ship out? I have a baby shower this Sat and need 60?
ReplyDeleteWhat did you use for them mouth?
ReplyDeleteCandy necklace pieces!
